I love independent bookshops and always keep my eye open for one whenever I travel. This weekend we were in Brookings on the Oregon coast. At the Farmer’s Market, ideally located on the boat harbor, I discovered The Book Dock, owned by Pat Piper and her cat. One of my purchases was “Here Lies the Librarian” by Richard Peck.
